Football Game Preview: Norton Panthers vs. West Branch Warriors

The Norton Panthers will head out to face off against the West Branch Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norton is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.

Norton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 63-13 victory over Edgewood. Considering the Panthers have won nine matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, West Branch strolled past Salem with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 27-13. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Quakers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Norton better focus on containing Grady Hirst and Jeremiah Thomas as the pair were huge in West Branch's win. Hirst threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns, while Thomas gained 110 total yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Thomas racked up 56 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in August.

Norton's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for West Branch, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.
