Idrees Lee won't forget Friday's contest any time soon: he posted double-digit total tackles for the first time in his career. He made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss), but sadly Connally still had to take a 61-34 loss at the hands of Athens. We marked that as the best performance he's had all season, even better than his effort on September 12th (when he made nine total tackles) (Gamescore: 17.25 vs. 9).

Lee and Connally will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on China Spring at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
