Arthur-Okaw Christian came tearing into Friday's matchup with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Kankakee Trinity Academy by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arthur-Okaw Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brileigh Mast, who had six kills, six digs, and three aces. Mast has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last nine times she's played. Evonda Yoder was another key player, getting seven digs and four aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Arthur-Okaw Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive matches.

Arthur-Okaw Christian's win bumped their record up to 26-5-1. As for Kankakee Trinity Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coincidentally, Arthur-Okaw Christian and Kankakee Trinity Academy will both be playing Victory Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Conquering Riders will head out to face the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Kankakee Trinity Academy will head out to face them at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday.
