Cypress Falls hasn't had much luck against Cypress Creek recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Cypress Falls Eagles will head out to face off against the Cypress Creek Cougars at 12:00 p.m. Cypress Falls will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Cypress Falls needed a bit of extra time to put away Memorial. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 69-66 victory over the Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since December 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, Cypress Creek came up short against Stratford on Wednesday and fell 54-46. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cypress Falls is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Cypress Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 11-15.

Cypress Falls took their victory against Cypress Creek in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 74-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cypress Falls since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
