Volleyball Recap: Ben Lippen Gets the Win

Ben Lippen picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Aynor Blue Jackets 2-1.

Georgia Kate Price was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had four aces and three digs. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 38 games she's played dating back to last season. Lisa Wick also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Ben Lippen is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season. As for Aynor, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Coincidentally, Ben Lippen and Aynor will both be playing Gilbert the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Indians at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Blue Jackets will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
