Basketball Recap: Bob Papik Key Part of Team Effort in Knights Win

Nebraska Lutheran lost to Twin River back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Knights secured a 51-45 W over the Titans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Nebraska Lutheran got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bob Papik out in front who shot 44% from the field en route to 21 points and eight boards. Those eight rebounds gave Papik a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Otte, who posted 17 points and six boards.

Nebraska Lutheran's record now sits at 2-0. As for Twin River, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Nebraska Lutheran will take on Michigan Lutheran in a tournament on Friday. As for Twin River, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on East Butler at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
