Volleyball Recap: Fenton Takes a Loss

Fenton lost against Waukegan two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bison took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9.

Daniel Garfias paced Fenton's offense, picking up five kills. Garfias got some help from Michael Wrona and his nine assists.

Fenton's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Waukegan, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Fenton has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Hoffman Estates on the 7th. As for Waukegan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Elgin on the 8th.
