Glenwood posted their closest win since October 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Harris County Tigers, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Gators: when they faced off against the Tigers back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Glenwood who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-8, 23-25, 19-17.

Despite the defeat, Harris County had strong showings from Kailyn Vannoy, who had nine digs and five assists, and Hazeleah Vasquez, who had seven assists and three digs.

Glenwood's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-14. As for Harris County, their loss dropped their record down to 23-8.

Glenwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Northside on the 17th. As for Harris County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Starr's Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
