Volleyball Game Preview: Heritage Patriots vs. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints

Heritage hasn't had much luck against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Patriots will take on the Saints at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Heritage got the win against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger made easy work of Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Saints have posted against the Cadets since October 5, 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-20.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Heritage suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
