Volleyball Game Preview: Unioto Shermans vs. Chillicothe Cavaliers

Unioto hasn't had much luck against Chillicothe recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Shermans will take on the Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m.

Unioto came up short against Ross County Christian Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Chillicothe entered their tilt with Grove City on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-11.

Chillicothe pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Unioto, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Unioto suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Chillicothe in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Shermans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
