Volleyball Recap: Arvin Takes a Loss

Arvin lost against Ridgeview back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears fell 2-0 to the Wolf Pack. The match marked the first time this season in which the Bears were not able to get on the board.

Danitza Moreno paced Arvin's offense, picking up six kills. Moreno were helped by Destiny Robles and Ximena Juarez, who contributed three assists each. Moreno was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Arvin now has a losing record of 1-2-2.

Arvin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Taft on the 23rd. After both having extra time off, Ridgeview and Foothill will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
