Lincoln North Star's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Navigators who were credited with the victory. The Lincoln North Star Navigators got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to the Fremont Tigers's zero. This was a revenge game for Lincoln North Star: when they faced off against Fremont back in March, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Linsey Sheldon and Carly Beals scored both of Lincoln North Star's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

With the win, Lincoln North Star broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7. As for Fremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
