Softball Game Preview: Yellville-Summit Panthers vs. Valley Springs Tigers

Yellville-Summit hasn't had much luck against Valley Springs recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Yellville-Summit lost 16-1 to Melbourne on Thursday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Valley Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Cave City, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Yellville-Summit's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Valley Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.

Yellville-Summit beat Valley Springs 8-4 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
