Soccer Game Preview: Pavilion vs. Letchworth

The Pavilion Golden Gophers will challenge the Letchworth Legends at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pavilion's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Pavilion turned things around against Campbell-Savona on Monday. Neither they nor the Panthers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Pavilion's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Letchworth came up short against Avon on Monday and fell 3-1. Letchworth haven't had much luck with Avon recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Pavilion's draw gives them a new season record of 1-7-1. As for Letchworth, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
