The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Todd, who scored four points.

Springwood's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for Macon-East Montgomery Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
