Football Game Preview: Coral Glades Jaguars vs. Flanagan Falcons

The Coral Glades Jaguars will take on the Flanagan Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Coral Glades has four straight victories, Flanagan has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Flanagan's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Coral Glades hadn't allowed a single point the last four times they've hit the field. Coral Glades never let Archbishop McCarthy get on the board and left with a 26-0 win on Tuesday. While the Jaguars didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Coral Glades didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Noel Thomas and Madison Watts. That's the most interceptions Thomas has posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, Flanagan fell victim to Miramar and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

Flanagan's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Coral Glades, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coral Glades suffered a grim 21-0 defeat to Flanagan in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Thankfully for Coral Glades, Anaiyah Fullerton (who rushed for 110 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 45 yards and two touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
