Volleyball Game Preview: FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers vs. Godby Cougars + How To Watch

The FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers will head out on the road to square off against the Godby Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: FAMU DRS has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Godby will arrive with seven straight victories.

FAMU DRS lost 3-0 to Wakulla Christian School on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Godby got the win against Taylor County on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Godby won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-19.

Godby's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for FAMU DRS, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

FAMU DRS suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Godby in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Baby Rattlers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
