Basketball Recap: Fredonia Takes a Loss

If Fredonia was riding high fresh off their 49-17 takedown of El Capitan last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fredonia Lynx took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Point Cougars on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-34 back in January.

Fredonia's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Rock Point, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Fredonia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-53 defeat against Dishchii'bikoh on the 8th. As for Rock Point, they have also already played their next contest, a 68-46 win against Red Mesa on the 8th.
