Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Generals vs. Meadowbrook Colts

If Sheridan was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Coshocton on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Generals came up short against the Meadowbrook Colts on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Generals have suffered since August 17, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-14.

Hayley Clifton paced Sheridan's offense, picking up six kills. Clifton got some help from Drew Fox and her seven assists. Finally, Mauri O'Brien kept Sheridan's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Meadowbrook can attribute much of their success to Journey Nicola, who had 15 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Nicola has posted since back in October of 2024.
