Soccer Game Preview: Lee-Scott Academy vs. Valley

The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Valley Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee-Scott Academy will be strutting in after a win while Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Lee-Scott Academy will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Stanhope Elmore on Monday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 10-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Lee-Scott Academy, who have now won nine games by six goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Beauregard.

Valley's goal came courtesy of Daniela Cardenas, which was the first she's scored this season.

Lee-Scott Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those seven contests. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
