Volleyball Recap: Evangel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Evangel Christian Academy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Prairie Mustangs on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the defeat, Evangel Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bailey Roberts had 17 digs and two aces.

Evangel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Prairie, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Evangel Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prairie, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Caliche on the 14th.
