Basketball Game Preview: Sanger Apaches vs. Edison Tigers

The Sanger Apaches will take on the Edison Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Sanger was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 56-50 to Fresno. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Apaches came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Warriors are ranked 613th).

Meanwhile, Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 73-65 to Justin Garza.

Sanger's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 4-24.

Sanger took their win against Edison in their previous meeting last Friday by a conclusive 69-49. Will Sanger repeat their success, or does Edison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
