Softball Recap: Argyle Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Argyle and Granville, and Granville kept the tradition alive. The Scots took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Horde on Thursday. The match marked the Scots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Argyle's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Granville, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Argyle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granville, they have already played their next game, a 9-2 loss against Salem on the 16th.
