Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline lost to Scottsboro back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings were beaten by the Wildcats 68-30. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Scottsboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

Skyline and Scottsboro should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Vikings (ranked 120th) will meet Section (ranked 276th) at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Scottsboro will square off against Madison Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (2 vs. 118).
