St. Mary strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their game with ease, bagging an 81-54 victory over the Overland Trailblazers. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trailblazers, too.

Overland's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Demetrius Lambert, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mehki McNeal, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 13 points.

St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Overland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, St. Mary's is taking a road trip to challenge Cactus Shadows at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Overland, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against George Washington at 7:00 p.m.
