Basketball Recap: DeKalb Takes a Loss

DeKalb lost against Mound City back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The DeKalb Tigers were beaten by the Mound City Panthers 73-26. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

DeKalb's record now sits at 2-21. As for Mound City, they pushed their record up to 9-18 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

DeKalb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-18 defeat against South Nodaway on the 7th. As for Mound City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-45 win against North Nodaway on the 7th.
