Soccer Game Preview: Valley vs. Lee-Scott Academy

The Valley Rams will take on the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Thursday, Valley came up short against Beauregard and fell 3-1.

The Rams' goal came courtesy of Daniela Cardenas, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Lee-Scott Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Stanhope Elmore on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Mustangs. Lee-Scott Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six goals or more this season.

Lee-Scott Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those seven contests. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
