Softball Recap: Hollister Haybalers vs. Willow Glen Rams

Hollister waltzed into their game on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They had just enough and edged the Willow Glen Rams out 6-5.

Johnny Casares spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits.

At the plate, Mia Phillips was excellent, going 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Faga, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

On Willow Glen's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alanna Clincy, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
