Softball Recap: Benjamin Russell Wildcats vs. Auburn Tigers

Benjamin Russell lost against Auburn back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Benjamin Russell Wildcats took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Auburn Tigers. Benjamin Russell has not had much luck with Auburn recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

For Auburn's part, they got a great performance from Mary Alderson Grace as she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Grace has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single walk in five consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Morgan Sides, who scored two runs and stole a base. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Seele, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
