Soccer Game Preview: Westover vs. Peach County

The Westover Patriots will face off against the Peach County Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westover's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Westover's offense. They came up short against Sherwood Christian Academy on Friday, falling 7-0.

Meanwhile, Peach County and Georgia Military College combined for 17 shots on goal on Tuesday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. The Trojans lost 4-1 to the Bulldogs.

Peach County's goal came courtesy of Jerome Diaz, who's now up to six this season.

Peach County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Westover, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Westover couldn't quite get it done against Peach County in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
