Soccer Recap: Charleston Takes a Loss

Charleston was the 2-1 winner over Danville when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Vikings on Monday. Charleston have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Russell Applegate, who's now up to 17 this season.

Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Danville, their win bumped their record up to 9-7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charleston will welcome Taylorville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Danville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloomington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
