Football Game Preview: Atkinson County Rebels vs. Hilliard Red Flashes

Two dominant backs in Darrian Roberts and Camauri Bolden are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Atkinson County Rebels will welcome the Hilliard Red Flashes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Atkinson County's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last five games.

On Friday, Atkinson County took their contest with ease, bagging a 55-20 victory over Calhoun County. Considering the Rebels have won six matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Hilliard's offense. They were beaten by Liberty County 49-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 54 points in the game before, the Red Flashes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hilliard has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Atkinson County, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
