Softball Recap: Southridge Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pike Central on Thursday, Southridge came back down to earth. The Raiders took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Hills Patriots on Friday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Southridge now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Heritage Hills, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southridge will venture away from home to face off against Evansville Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Heritage Hills, they will head out to square off against Mt. Vernon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
