Football Recap: Methuen's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Methuen was riding high fresh off their 38-12 takedown of North Andover last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers came up short against the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen on Friday, falling 28-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rangers have suffered against the Redmen since September 16, 2016.

Having lost for the first time this season, Methuen fell to 2-1. As for Tewksbury Memorial, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Methuen will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Andover at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Tewksbury Memorial, they will take on Lowell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
