Basketball Recap: S & S Consolidated Comes Up Short

S & S Consolidated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Gunter Tigers and fell 66-33. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 42-28 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

S & S Consolidated lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brightin Mcnabb, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Orr, who earned nine points.

S & S Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Gunter, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

S & S Consolidated will square off against Poolville at 6:15 p.m. on January 10th. As for Gunter, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Gunter Tigers take on the Bells Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
