Volleyball Recap: Make It 11 in a Row for Xavier Prep + How To Watch

Xavier Prep waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They put the hurt on the Palm Springs Indians with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Xavier Prep not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Palm Springs between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-16.

Leading Xavier Prep to victory were Aubree Burrell and Annabel Frederick. Burrell had six digs and two aces, while Frederick had 11 digs and five aces. Frederick is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good servers: Xavier Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in four consecutive matchups.

Xavier Prep's record is now 27-5. As for Palm Springs, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

Xavier Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Desert Christian Academy on the 10th. As for Palm Springs, they will challenge Palm Desert at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
