Volleyball Recap: Tri-City Tornadoes vs. Calvary Saints
Tri-City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Calvary Saints. While Tri-City had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least seven points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-11.
Tri-City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Calvary, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Tri-City will face off against Nokomis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calvary, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lincolnwood at 6:00 p.m. Lincolnwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Calvary surely won't give up without a fight.
