Valdosta Gets a Boost from Robinson in 35-27 Victory

Starting off the list is Valdosta's Todd Robinson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Robinson threw for 414 yards and five touchdowns.

If history really does repeat itself, Robinson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Carrollton on Friday. When Robinson last faced the Trojans back in November of 2023, he rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

Eli Lewis Turns in Season-Best Effort

Valdosta was led to victory by Eli Lewis, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Lewis picked up 225 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 57 yards.

On the season, Lewis has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 65.3 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one receiving touchdown.

Parrish Came Up Big in Lowndes' 35-17 Victory

Marvis Parrish's big game helped extend Lowndes's winning streak to five on Friday. North Paulding had no answer to Parrish as he rushed for 93 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 55 receiving yards. Parrish has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.

Lowndes' victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Parrish and Lowndes will square off against Buford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Day'shawn Brown Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Day'Shawn Brown of Colquitt County. Brown rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

The win was the fourth in a row for Colquitt County, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. Brown and Colquitt County have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Collins Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
