Volleyball Preview: River Hill Hawks vs. Mt. Hebron Vikings
River Hill has been away from home for five games now, but on Thursday they'll finally make their return. They will host the Mt. Hebron Vikings at 8:00 p.m. River Hill will be strutting in after a victory while Mt. Hebron will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, River Hill sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Glenelg.
River Hill took Glenelg into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-14, 25-12, 25-27, 15-10.
Meanwhile, Mt. Hebron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of Wilde Lake by a score of 3-2.
River Hill's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Mt. Hebron, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
River Hill beat Mt. Hebron 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Will River Hill repeat their success, or does Mt. Hebron have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
