Softball Recap: Spring Grove Comes Up Short

If Spring Grove was feeling good fresh off their 18-3 takedown of York Suburban last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Spring Grove came up short against the Kennard-Dale Rams on Monday, falling 12-0.

Spring Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Leggett, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Leggett hit this season.

Spring Grove now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Kennard-Dale, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Spring Grove will challenge rival William Penn at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Kennard-Dale is set to take on their familiar foe York Suburban at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
