Basketball Game Preview: Monroe Dragons vs. Harrisburg Eagles

Monroe is 0-7 against Harrisburg since December of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Monroe Dragons just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Harrisburg Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Monroe is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They fell 35-26 to Bandon.

Meanwhile, Harrisburg waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 60-29 win over the Cobras. The match marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The win got Harrisburg back to even at 4-4. As for Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Monroe suffered a grim 67-45 defeat to Harrisburg when the teams last played back in November of 2023. Can Monroe avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
