After losing to Moorhead the last time they met, Sartell-St. Stephen decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sabres were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spuds on Thursday.

Sartell-St. Stephen was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19, 25-20.

Olivia Terhune paced Sartell-St. Stephen's offense, picking up nine kills. Terhune got some help from Kate Thompson and her 24 assists. Terhune was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The victory got Sartell-St. Stephen back to even at 1-1. As for Moorhead, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Coming up, Sartell-St. Stephen will face off against Sauk Rapids-Rice at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moorhead, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Brainerd at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
