Soccer Recap: North Platte Comes Up Short

North Platte and Millard North squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but North Platte had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, North Platte's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

North Platte has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's still a better percentage than their 4-13 record this season. As for Millard North, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

North Platte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Millard North, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lincoln High on the 7th.
