Soccer Recap: Potomac Senior Takes a Loss

Potomac Senior came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Charles J. Colgan Sharks, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Potomac Senior of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Potomac Senior's loss dropped their record down to 5-2-1. As for Charles J. Colgan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 5-1-1 record this season.

Potomac Senior and Charles J. Colgan will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Panthers see the pitch they'll take on Gar-Field at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Charles J. Colgan, their break will end when they face Hylton at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
