Basketball Recap: Summit Country Day Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cincinnati Country Day last Wednesday, Summit Country Day came back down to earth. The contest between the Summit Country Day Silver Knights and the Little Miami Panthers didn't end well, with the Summit Country Day Silver Knights falling 49-33. While losing is never fun, the Silver Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Panthers are ranked 129th).

Summit Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Little Miami, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

Coming up, Summit Country Day will be taking part in a tournament against Cincinnati Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Little Miami, they will venture away from home to square off against Anderson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Little Miami is facing Anderson at the right time seeing as Anderson is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
