Volleyball Game Preview: Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle vs. Lakeway Christian Academy Lions

The Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle will head out to square off against the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Monday, Collegedale Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Boyd-Buchanan and fell 3-2. The Collegedale Eagle have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Lakeway Christian Academy waltzed into their match on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Concord Christian.

Lakeway Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-8, 25-16.

Lakeway Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Collegedale Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Carley Cameron, who had 12 digs and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Essie Jett, who had ten digs.

Lakeway Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Collegedale Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Collegedale Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lakeway Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Collegedale Eagle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
