Basketball Recap: Choctaw County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Choctaw County can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 59-22 loss at the hands of the Edwards Tigers. The Chargers were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than 55 points in the four contests prior), but the Tigers' defense proved too tough.

Choctaw County's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Edwards, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 25-7.

Choctaw County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Edwards has already played their next game (against Choctaw Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
