Football Game Preview: Regents Knights vs. Southwest Christian School Eagles

The Regents Knights will face off against the Southwest Christian School Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Regents has ten straight wins, Southwest Christian School has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Regents blew past Hyde Park, posting a 48-7 victory. The Knights' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Jack Devine produced another solid effort throwing for 199 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 49 yards. He has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last eight times he's played. Kade Millington was Devine's top target, picking up 42 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, Southwest Christian School played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 58-22 defeat at the hands of All S. The Eagles were down 58-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Southwest Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Regents, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.

Everything came up roses for Regents against Southwest Christian School in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-7 victory. In that matchup, the Knights amassed a halftime lead of 42-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
