Softball Recap: Haddon Township Comes Up Short

Haddon Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Haddon Heights Garnets. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 2, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Annika Raeuber spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

Haddon Township's record is now 5-11. As for Haddon Heights, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haddon Township will welcome Gateway Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Haddon Heights, they will host Holy Cross at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
