Triad has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mascoutah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Indians at 5:45 p.m. Triad is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

Triad is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Belleville West on Monday. The Knights fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 2-1. Triad's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Claire Gough, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Mascoutah kept a clean sheet against Breese Central on Monday. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for Mascoutah in their matchups with Breese Central: they've now won eight in a row.

Triad's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Mascoutah, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.

Triad was able to grind out a solid victory over Mascoutah in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
